Starlet Ameesha Yadav,who features in Corruption: The Curse, a film inspired from Anna Hazare’s movement, has gone nude in it.
The film is set in rural India and tells the story of a woman who is gang-raped by the police officials of the area.
A women-oriented film, Corruption sees the protagonist take on the system to bring about change.
Ameesha plays the protagonist who, exploited and battered, finds help at an NGO and the woman DJ who runs it.
The shooting for the film is on hold because of the Ganpati festival and will resume shortly, informs the film’s crew.
Directed by Delhi-based filmmaker R S Nath, the film is being shot in Mumbai and two other locations.
